Guidance
News

The Guidance Department is composed of five counselors, our secretary, Mrs. Cindy Fisher and our Registrar, Mrs. Jeanne Tucker. Mrs. Fisher will assist in scheduling appointments for students, parents, community resources and college representatives. Our counselors will be working with students based on their last name. We have split the alphabet as posted above:
SENIOR GRADUATION CHECKS: All seniors received an Academic History Report in homeroom during the first week of school. This report details for the student the courses they have completed and the credits they still need to graduate. In addition, this report provides information related to GPA, testing requirements, and semester grades earned in those completed courses. PLEASE have your senior review this report for accuracy and schedule to see their assigned counselor in GUIDANCE if they notice any errors.
Recently, logon and password information for our online grade book system (formerly known as Pinpoint Parent Portal) was distributed by mail and to students.
All students will receive an Interim Progress Report during the mid-point of each nine week grading period. The student is charged with delivering the progress report to his/her parent/guardian. Progress Report Dates: Sept. 16, Nov. 18, Feb. 3, Apr. 20 Report Card Dates: Oct. 28, Jan. 13, March 30, and June 8 (mailed home).
